Lavender Chamomile Sleep Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 chamomile tea bag
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender (culinary grade)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A handful of ice

Instructions:

  1. Steep the chamomile tea bag in 1/2 cup of boiling water for 5-7 minutes, then let it cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender, add the cooled chamomile tea, almond milk, lavender, frozen banana, oats, honey, and vanilla extract.
  3. Blend until smooth, adding a handful of ice for extra chill if desired.
  4. Pour into a glass and sip slowly about an hour before bedtime.
